A MOVIE

From my personal archives... this is an old short video that I edited during my sophomore year in college using a linear-editing system that had chronic timecode break problems that I didn't know how to fix. I decided that it would just become a part of the work. The music was recorded in-camera from a street performer during the same day. I must have spent an entire day at Union Square park to get this footage. Everyone became actors. This was the time when my Hi-8 camera and I were inseparable. I carried it with me at all times and instead of using a pencil to make these little sketches, I was using a camera.
