Lighting drinks two times

Drinking things again. And lighting them on fire. Probably 4 of my favorite vices are included in this video.

1) Alcohol
2) Coffee
3) Fire
4) Smoking

It's a recipe for good times. And, don't forget the music in the background.

5) Music

There is always music when such things are consumed. Lately, I have been spending my time at the bar, which shouldn't be a surprise. It's all for the sake of research for that film that I have been struggling to write for the past 4 or so years. But, it is coming along. Eventually, I imagine the script being finished and then the fun part can begin. Writing, is of course, the most difficult time. In preparing myself for what will probably be a kind of spontaneous, foot-dragging, gut-wrenching, teeth-pulling, blank-staring, thumb-twiddling event of writing this film in time for a late summer/early fall shoot -- I am drinking. It has allowed me to kill 3 things with one chug or sip.

1) Boredom
2) Writer's Block
3) R&R

I imagine that the creative juices will eventually flow. If not, I can always sit in front of the computer and force those juices to come out by... by... sheer will and dread.

Listen, the birds have already come and it's probably high-time to face the music.



My plan, if I can actually stick to it is devote an hour to writing every morning before I go to work. This is the last thing I wanna do, but, it has to be done. I am so not a morning person. But, perhaps, the birds can help me.
